Yoga in Nepal is more than 10,000 years old mediating practice is believed to be practiced by Yogis in the Himalayas. According to mythological beliefs, Lord Shiva, Lord Buddha, and other deities reached the highest level of spiritual and divinity by practicing yoga.
Coming back to the present context, our life has been so busy, hectic, and routine that we don’t have time for ourselves. We are basically imprisoned by our negative thoughts, inactive and more inclined to materialistic things rather and practicing yoga and attain physical fitness with a whole lot of mindfulness.

When, where, and how is Yoga Day celebrated?
International Yoga Day is celebrated on the 21st of June every year all around the globe. From Tundikhel ground in Kathmandu to Connaught Place in Delhi and central park in New York, thousands of people practice yoga participates in an event.
With guidance from various yoga practitioners, gurus, and teachers, various postures of Yoga, meditation is practiced; also cultural programs and awareness programs/ discussions event are also organized on this International Yoga day event.
