Nepal is witnessing a monsoon season now. These days, the Himalayan country is drenched in rain causing landslides, floods in different regions, and these types of natural calamities are considered a common phenomenon that occurs every rainy season. As a consequence, the number of incoming visitors (travelers) also goes down during this season.

Despite the rainfall causing a decline in the number of incoming tourists, people going for trips to Mt. Kailash Yatra via Nepal is still in increasing trend. And evergreen treks like Upper Mustang also see quite an inquiries than other popular treks during wet months like July and August. It is a fact that landslides block the road for days in highway including away from Kathmandu to Pokhara, and domestic flights especially to Lukla gets delayed or canceled, but the natural beauty of Nepal is so tremendous that it attracts the botanist who has a keen interest on the study of floral highlights in Nepal. And other travelers to the above-mentioned trips like Upper Mustang, Mt. Kailash, and other pilgrimage trips go along safe as well.

The hills surrounding Kathmandu valley turn into a greenish color, the awful dust in the streets of Kathmandu blew away and late afternoon and night rains will bring the farming season on for Nepali farmers who are dependent on agricultural farming like rice, wheat, paddy products.
