Further known for its majestic Himalayas, Nepal also has the world’s highest mountain- Mt. Everest (8,848m) in its northern territories. Then to the south lies the verdant lush green plains of Terai, where an unbelievable amount of wildlife and vegetation flourishes. By now, you can easily see that Nepal won’t disappoint you if you plan on capturing iconic glimpses of your travel destinations inside Nepal.
Photography in Nepal can become one of your most significant achievements, and it is my sole intent to give you some general tips with this blog post today. So that after reading the article, you can better prepare yourself for your upcoming photographic adventure in Nepal.
Be Patient
With how things work in Nepal, foreign travelers, especially those from the western part of the world, just remember to be patient while trekking or simply staying in Nepal.
And if you fail to do so, you will lose a lot of great opportunities that could have made your travel to Nepal worthwhile. Therefore, after landing in Nepal, many travelers realize that Nepal runs on its own time where you might not be able to get everything or at least some things in the scheduled time.
But that’s not all; if you accept how Nepal and its people operate, your travel can be a lot easier.
Be Prepared
As an advent traveler/trekker, you must hope to travel the outskirts of rural regions of Nepal, where pristine nature thrives vibrantly. However, Nepal is a developing country where large portions of its land don’t have any modern facilities and amenities you are accustomed to in your home country.
And as soon as you leave Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, you will realize that you have to live your remaining days with little or less access to electricity, internet, and medication. So, you have to be very vigilant and prepared for traveling in such regions of Nepal with extra caution.
Unless you travel to modernized city areas, we highly suggest you bring your prescription medications and toiletries so that you don’t have to spend time wandering in the trails of Nepal.
Places to Shoot
We fully understand that Nepal is amongst those countries where the list of places to travel and have a good time doesn’t end. Likewise, travelers who wish to go for a photographic tour or something like that can also assure themselves that Nepal has every eye-catching sight and view you have ever dreamt of. However, we can still give names of some of the major subjects/places you can visit while traveling in Nepal.
You should enlist places like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini, Upper Mustang, Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Langtang Valley, and Tsum Valley on your list of traveling while you stay in Nepal. Yes, there are many other places you can research and find yourself for a perfect photographic adventure in Nepal. But if you are short on time and have difficulty finding the right places, then the above-mentioned places can be your dream destinations.
Lastly, no matter where you decide on trekking in Nepal, remember that Nepal, as an illustrious country, has far more to offer than the words in my article describe it to be.
