Travel Distance: Kathmandu to Pokhara
- There are two ways to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu. You can transverse through the land as well as air.
- Through private vehicle/ tourist bus you can reach consuming 6-7 hours depending upon traffic condition on the way.
- Catching the flight, you can land there spending 30-35 minutes.
Note: Travelling through the land you may encounter conditions i.e. heavy traffic, road construction, landslides and flights may be affected due to weather conditions especially in the monsoon season.
Travel Distance: Pokhara to Naya Pul
- Again, catching a private vehicle/tourist bus you can transverse to Naya Pul which is situated 62 kilometres from Pokhara. It approximately takes 1.5 to 2 hours to reach there.
- As you reach Naya Pul, you should begin your excursion further. So, it is better to move from Pokhara after having an early meal.
- Otherwise, you should directly be driven to Thike Dhunga, cutting down your hiking.
- Next, you can catch a public vehicle (public bus) to reach there as well which departs every hour from Pokhara.
