Manaslu region might not be on the bucket list of many travelers, but it has been gaining popularity in recent years. Most trekkers focus on either Everest or Annapurna in the peak season, making this Manaslu region in shadow. In the Annapurna region, the government is developing the roadways to remote areas, and classic trekking routes are getting shorter. Maybe due to these factors, Manaslu has begun to evolve as another major trekking region in Nepal. However, it is still off the beaten path restricted trekking region with a limited number of tourists visiting each year.
Mt. Manaslu is standing tall at more than eight thousand meter elevation, and this region lies at the Gorkha district of Nepal, hosting quite a few trekking trips. A special trekking permit is required as it is a restricted area, and every trekker should follow the defined rules as ordered by the government. Therefore, trekking at the Manaslu region is an exclusive opportunity to see the unseen and tell a story that has never been told before. It is also true that the Manalsu circuit trek is compared with the Annapurna circuit trek, but there is quite a difference in natural sceneries and from other cultural aspects.
