After a few hours of driving to the birthplace of Lord Buddha Lumbini, we explore the Buddhist culture and visit the spectacular monasteries and stupas over there. The natural beauty of scenic Pokhara city would certainly delight you. We will also take a cable car ride to reach the Manakamana temple while returning back to Kathmandu. On the final day of the tour view the cultural show at one of the restaurants in Kathmandu and return with all memory of delightful cultural experiences from Nepal.
Welcome to Kathmandu! Once you land at Kathmandu airport (Tribhuvan International Airport), retrieve your luggage and go through customs (visa, etc.). Then once you get to the arrival terminal, you will find our representative waiting to greet you. He/she will be holding Icicles Adventure Treks and Tour signboard with your name on it. Next, a comfortable private transfer will escort you to the reserved hotel. After checking in, we suggest you have a good rest for the remainder of the day to recover from the jet lag or ramble around to get some impression of the city.
After breakfast, we start an exciting tour around Kathmandu. Escorting by an English-speaking guide (can provide any language speaking guide on request) be, try to give them a full taste of our vivid culture image and an enchanting manner of its people. We go to Monkey temple Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar square on our sightseeing tour.
Durbar Square: -This complex of palaces, courtyards, and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. An intriguing piece here is the 17th century stone inscription set into the palace wall with writings in 15 languages. The Durbar square, protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is the city's social, religious, and urban focal point. There are also museums inside the palace building. There is an entrance fee of Rs.250 for foreign visitors. Your ticket to the Square entitles you to visit all the museums.
Swayambhunath, 6.5 kilometers west of Kathmandu, situated on a hillock, this 2000-year-old Stupa is the world’s most glorious Buddhist shrine surrounded by several small pagodas. The main temple is capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt and is painted on the four sides with the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha.
Pashupatinath, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is the holiest Nepalese temple. Situated 5 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, it is an impressive pagoda-style structure with a gilt roof and richly carved silver doors. It has bathing and cremation ghats, which absorb interest to the tourist, particularly in the mornings and on festival day.
Boudhanath Stupa is one of the world's largest stupas and an important Buddhist pilgrimage. The unique octagonal Mandala design with hundreds of prayer wheels and the 108 images of the Buddha set into the niches around the vast structure. The area of Boudhnath is also famous for over 50 Tibetan Gompas or monasteries, also being known as the ‘Little Tibet.’

After viewing the sunrise view from Nagarkot, we return to Kathmandu and keep half-day valley sightseeing with Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar square.
Patan city, nearby Kathmandu, provides us the fantastic opportunity of sightseeing around ancient temples, palaces, handicrafts, stone works, metal works, and other authentic Nepali products. These art and crafts reflect the culture and tradition of local inhabitants, mainly Newars. Visit the Ashok stupas around the city's boundaries, heavenly Patan Durbar square that was once the palace of ancient Malla Kings, Patan Dhoka, golden temple, mahaboudha temple, Krishna mandir, and other museums reflect centuries-old monuments.
Bhaktapur is the cultural Newar city near Kathmandu, linked by the Araniko highway. Bhaktapur is known for its pottery art, and architecture enthralls every visitor. Visit Bhaktapur durbar square, museums, golden gate, 55 windows palaces, and spectacular temples is worth visiting. Still, the locals follow the ancient tradition and lifestyle and their profession, which is the primary source of their income. As soon as you enter the Bhaktapur, the bricked roads, old-style houses, and monuments symbolize that being near to metro city Kathamandu, Bhaktapur is untouched by urbanization. There are also many hiking points on Bhaktapur. You can hike up to Nagarkot and witness spectacular sunrise views the following day or drive up to Panauti and hike to Namo Buddha monastery, the perfect day tour.

After breakfast, we will drive to Pokhara along Prithivi highway; Pokhara is the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu; spend enjoyably the trip along the bank of Phewa Lake can admire the stunning view of the Fish Tail’s Peak reflected in the silver surface of the water. Early in the morning, we will drive to World peace stupa just 15 Kilometers away from your hotel for another great sunrise view around Annapurna & Dhaulagiri range then back to have breakfast at the hotel then begin a full day sightseeing of Pokhara including Phewa lake boating, we will visiting the Seti River gorge – one of the best places to see. You will have an opportunity to take a glimpse of the limestone cave of Mahendra Gufa & David’s falls used to be well-known for its stalactites. Overnight at Hotel. (Breakfast, Included)
After breakfast, we travel overland from Pokhara to Royal Chitwan National Park. We experience many safari activities; jungle walks, canoeing, 4WD safaris, and so forth… Once the night falls, we entertain you with cultural performances, including a bonfire, before getting in bed. Before breakfast, you will have been toured around the hotel for bird watching then back to have breakfast; after having your hot breakfast, you get a full day of safari activities in Royal Chitwan National Park – if you are lucky, you will see many amazing creatures that you spend the most time to looking for; rhinoceroses, Chitwan royal Bengal tigers, leopards, monkeys, many types of deer and reptiles. After breakfast, we travel overland from Chitwan to the Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, revered as the place of holy pilgrimage. Lumbini has been included as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Upon arrival Lumbini, we transfer you to the hotel, check-in and then we go walking through the Sacred Lumbini Garden where the Buddha was born converges on the Ashoka pillar, visit the Maya Devi Temple with its bas-relief sculpture depicting Maya Devi holding on with her right hand to a branch of pipal tree and giving birth to the infant Buddha who stands upon a lotus pedestal. After breakfast, we begin the trip by driving away, 27km west of Lumbini; visit the important archaeological site, Tilaurkot, the ancient palace of King Suddodha (Siddhartha Gautam’s father), where the Buddha spent his formative years as a Shakya Prince. Allow yourself for a moment to wander around and soak the atmosphere. There’s a museum nearby, The Kapilvastu Museum; the pottery, jewelry, and ornaments are gathered in-house.
