Seeing Mt. Everest up close and reaching its Base Camp falls on the bucket list of many people, but all people may not like the arduous trek up the base camp of this world's tallest mountain, Mt. Everest, 8,848-meter (29,029-foot). Although the journey to Everest is well worth taking on foot, those who don’t want the strenuous walk and who don’t have time can enjoy Everest. It’s the spectacular scenario of the neighboring hundreds of snow-capped mountains of the Himalayas on our Everest Heli Tour.

On the Everest Heli tour organized by Icicles Adventure, you will take a helicopter ride above the majestic Himalayan mountain range, Everest base camp, and then land at the famous Kalapatthar viewpoint, which is located at an altitude of 5,545 meters. At the base of the highest mountain on earth, this stunning location is truly like no other place on earth.

At 6 am we board the flight from Kathmandu domestic airport. Starting from the view of Kathmandu valley and its surrounding hills, we fly eastwards towards the Everest region, enjoying the view of mountains like Ganesh Himal,  Langtang, Dorje Lakpa. Langsisa, Cho Oyu, Gaurishankar, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Mt Everest, Mt.Pumori  khubu ice falls etc. We will fly above Everest base camp and land on Kalapather viewpoint for a brief period of time to snap photographs at this mighty altitude with majestic peaks in our background. Then, we fly back, relishing the view of Everest (8,848m), Amadablam (6,812m), Thamserku (6,623m), Khumbila (5,761m), Kwangde (6,011m) many other mountains. The mountains glow with the early morning sun’s rays golden, making the whole scenario charismatic. We will stop at Syangboche Airport to get to the hotel situated at the highest elevation, the Everest View Hotel, which is the best place to have your breakfast, enjoying the view of Everest and surrounding peaks. After enjoying breakfast, we fly back to Kathmandu. The total flight hour (Everest Heli tour) will be three hours, and we will get extra time for breakfast, photography, viewing mountains, etc., a total of about 4 hours.
