Lok Bahadur Thapa

Lok Bahadur Thapa is famous for his humble personality. Lok has been working as a trekking guide/leader since the late nineties after achieving a trekking guide's training and license. Knowledgeable, wise, kind, and keen trekking leader, Lok grew up in central Nepal's Tahnahun district. He joined Icicles Adventure in 2015.

As Lok is our most experienced leader. Lok is a happy employee of Icicles Adventure and always inspires our other trekking guides. Icicles Adventure management team prefers to send new 'to-be' trekking guides with Lok for 'training treks' because he is the most knowledgeable, experienced, humblest, and always 'happy-to-share' type of person and the most eligible trainer. Not only the management but the new guides/porters also want to go on a trek on his company so that they can learn more from his experiences and stories.

During Lok's career as a trekking guide/leader, he has trekked through almost all trails of Nepal, including hundreds of times to Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Manaslu. So, Lok knows every stone of the major trekking trails of Nepal.

Mr. Lok has mostly led the groups to the Everest Base camp classic trail, Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp Trek, Everest three passes trek, Everest View Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Annapurna Base camp trek, Ghorepani Poonhill Trek, Langtang Valley Trek, Langtang Gosainkunda Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Tsum Valley Trek, Upper Mustang Trek, Upper Dolpo Trek, Kanchenjunga and Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek and several others.
