One of our learned trekking leaders Mangale (widely known as Ram), was born and brought up in the lap of Ganesh Himal and near Ruby Valley of Dhading district. Calm, self-motivated, eager, kind, respectful, cheerful, friendly, and hospitable personality helped him to dive into the tourism industry. In the nineties, Ram began his career as a porter guide in this industry. With the experience of trekking leader for more than two decades, Ram joined Icicles Adventure in 2014 and has been working to date.
He has visited Nepal's popular trekking destinations hundreds of times as a trekking leader. Everest Base camp, Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp Trek, Everest three passes trek, Everest View Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Annapurna Base camp trek, Ghorepani Poonhill Trek, Khopra Danda and Mohare Danda Trek, Langtang Valley Trek, Langtang Gosainkunda Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Upper Mustang Trek, Upper Dolpo trek are his most visited destinations. Moreover, as a trekking leader, he has trekked the pilgrimage trail in Tibet to Kailash Manasarovar several times.
After dedication, determination, and hard work for numerous years, he can handle even large groups. Visiting countless times in the Himalayan foothills has collected sound knowledge about the people, cultures, and lifestyles.
